Waziup has developed Raspberry Pi HATs (WaziHAT) that add more capabilities to the Raspberry Pi including LoRa connectivity, control buttons, smart fan, OLED display and a blackout protection circuit. A combination of a WaziHAT, a raspberry pi and Wazigate Firmware is called WaziGate.

WaziGate can control actuators on field devices, such as electro-valves and host applications directly from the gateway. It can easily work without Internet connectivity and still provide data to end-users through its embedded database and web-based visualization module. WaziGate comes with fully edge computing features. WaziGate also includes the AI framework to run AI applications.

WaziSense is a battery-less LoRa sensor board with energy harvesting capability. It has a temperature and relative humidity sensor on board. Uses supercapacitor technology to store energy for data transmissions and exposes several terminals for external sensors and is designed to be fit into standard cases. WaziSense is well suited for the field applications.

Solar water pumps are developed to fit irrigation needs of smallholder farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa. The pump has got an IoT based controller that enables farmers to adopt PAYG model for their monthly instalment payments.

Farmers pay a down payment of $100 and make monthly payments of $62.50 for a period of 9 months, using the mobile money service M-Pesa, directly to the Sunny Irrigation account. This allows them make use of it for the period paid.

The attached IoT based controller also collects environmental data such as humidity and temperature, this data is remotely transmitted to S.I serve which is later analysed and used to offer free agricultural advisory services to farmers. This enables farmers practise smart agriculture and increase their yield to earn more.
